Boy Collapses at Spelling Bee, Nails Word
"The National Spelling Bee took a scary turn Thursday when a 13-year-old Colorado boy appeared to faint and collapsed on stage, drawing gasps from an audience packed in for the finals. Akshay Buddiga gathered himself after a few seconds, stood up and, to the amazement of the judges, immediately started spelling his word: 'alopecoid.'"

1. These kids are amazing.
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, amazing.

There was a math competition on The Deuce this morning, and holy cow, those kids were freaky geniuses. They had the answers before the guy finished reading the question (they had monitors on which they could see the questions while the guy read them).

That's right. They're freaks. To each his or her own, I guess, but they're still little freaky-freaks.

13. did they show the fainting?
I just recorded it on ESPN, but didn't see the part where he fainted. But the coverage seemed to start partway into it.
