anyone heard of the band 'Sparta'?
i think their pretty good, a local show has me looking on thier website... but i just noticed on the site they have a whole bunch of links like air america, democracy now, moveon.org, and others.

hey, the music is ok, but even if it wasnt... they got thier heads on straight at least.

2. I saw them in concert
About a year ago. I think they're from El Paso. Pretty good band.

im thinkin of grabbin a few tickets, thier playin a show in town monday and its really a low price for a show (10 bucks), its at a convention center too, so its not like im paying cover at some bar and will have to deal with a smoke filled room all night.

4. Former dudes from At The Drive In.....
Pretty politically charged but not as obvious as say RATM or similar bands.

Oddly I hated At The Drive In but I like both Sparta and The Mars Volta, the bands spun off of ATDI.

5. i kinda noticed in their cd...
but until i saw the links on the website i chalked it up to coincidence. but they do have a song called Rx Coup... and i thought that was a little beyond me trying to inject politics into everything (at least in my head).
