1. Man that brings back some memories...

Some of their first albums bring back a lot of fond memories... Peace Sells and stuff.....

And then the album with Hangar 18 on it, I think it's a work of technical genius to this day.. (even though I haven't heard it in years)

If Megadeth had hit a little earlier.....

I was a massive metal head, and when Metallica and Slayer and the like hit big it had the opposite probable effect on me. I loved those bands but they turned me on to more raw, fast, and hard stuff with more of a punk edge. From there I got into hardcore and punk and quickly tired of the technical end of metal. Unfortunately that is where Megadeth excelled, so even though I liked the first couple of albums, they never started that fire under me like the other bands of that era did.
