i've heard this phrase bantered about in the past week or so and it's reaLLy bothering me. is it true? i swear i can hear biLL o'reiLLy and/or sean hannity spouting off this stat for which ever taLking point they're on.

1. First you make it illegal for people to marry,

during all the years of slavery in this country, when they had to jump over broomsticks to have a wedding ceremony, and then, when you finally make it legal for them to marry (but only among themselves, until very recently), you jump all over them for not doing it enough.

Is this what is going to happen to gays? Conservatives would find something to criticize if you hung 'em with a new rope.
