Anyone ever read TRANSMETROPOLITAN?
It's a comic book that has maybe the best modern social satire I've ever seen. It's about an "outlaw journalist" in the near future who makes it his mission to bring down a corrupt, completely evil President. There are lots of not-so-subtle jabs at Bush and Republicans throughout, and it's just good, filthy, intelligent, hilarious, grown-up fun. The series ended about two years ago, but the whole thing is out in paperbacks. I think DUers would really dig it.

2. I hope they don't make a movie...
There's also a PREACHER movie in the works, that's just going to be awful. I hate when studios ruin comics that I love, and TRANSMET wouldn't translate well to the screen.
