I think we should have a DU camping trip
I've met enough of you folks here at DU and I can say one thing really really proudly - I think spending a weekend camping with DUers would be a real hoot!!! Sitting around the campfire in the heart of nature with other progressive thinkers, how could it get any better than that?

10. Could you have this camping trip...
in a vacant block next door to a five star hotel? I need my twice a day shower, a flushing toilet, cable and room service. I don't think I can get all that out in the woods.

years ago a colleague actually swallowed the quarter and ended up in the hospital for many days before they could get it out. A cautionary tale. :)

It would be too expensive, but it sure would be nice! Meridian State Park is pretty nice - I was a park ranger there right after I graduated from Tarleton State.
