Anybody know the cheapest way to register a domain?
I've used register free before, and it was about 19 bucks a year. Is there anything cheaper? ... better?

1. I use EHostPros
Check out EHostPros.com (click on domain services).

$11.99/yr per domain name. Not the cheapest I've seen, but to me well worth that price since I use them for hosting - their hosting is good and affordable as well.

4. Bit early to say
I've only been with them a few months, but I've never had a moment's downtime so far at http://clearwithin.com. From what I can tell they don't oversell their resources (my server's mem usage rarely goes over 25%, and the rest of the stats never go above 10% usage = no slowdowns.

They have good documentation/knowledgebase, and the included hosting features are excellent and plentiful. Support can be a bit annoying the first couple of times if you don't know what you're doing half the time (like me) and don't know how to communicate what you want/need. Once they understand your problem though they usually go in themselves and fix it for you.

My problems have been in configuring databases, which I know nothing about, so not actually a problem on their end. They also have a lot of "auto-install" stuff that only takes few clicks to set up, like PostNuke, some forums, e-commerce suite, and stuff like that.

As I said, it's still early but so far I recommend them as a good upstanding host.
