I'll bet president bush will now
compare the Grenada invasion of October 1983 to D-Day.

1. Hey man! Nutmeg is critical to the health of the economy.
Or don't you remember how bad the egg-nogg shortage of 1982 was?

2. LOL!
You're absolutely right!

There would have been rioting in the streets had Reagan not taken the necessary action.

3. I live outside a town with
a population of under 5000. We have a larger airport than the Canadians, er, communists were building in Grenada. The thing I remember the most about that period of time was the death of Maurice Bishop, who I felt was a wonderful example of what politicians could be like.

4. Oooh! Good thought; of course he will...
but anyone with half a brain knows it was launched to obliterate the deaths of 241 (that's TWO HUNDRED AND FORTY ONE!) US Marines in Lebanon two days earlier. And by the way, the repulsive Walter Cronkite did NOT end his newscasts thereafter by saying, "and that's the way it is, December 25, 1983, and 241 American Marines are still dead because of Ronald Reagan's foolish invasion of Lebanon." I will take my loathing of Cronkite to the grave with me.

5. Right on.
Maybe Bush is really mad about his father being in WW2 so Bush Jr. is going to be the War President. He already has the uniforms.
