The Difference Between Cats and Dogs
I know you pet owners will like this, particularly cat people.

The Difference Between Cats and Dogs

So the dog thinks.....
"Gee.....this human is giving me all this food, shelter....pets me and brushes me....
'He' must be God!"
and the Cat thinks..."Gee this human is giving me all this food,
shelter....pets me and brushes me.....
'I' must be God!"

1. It bears repeating. . .
"Dogs have owners, cats have staff."

3. That's about right....
and that's why I prefer felines. :toast: Remember: cats select you,
dogs are selected by you.

4. That is great and so true!
I used to be a dog person until I got my first cat. Now I have three cats and love them so much! They are unbelievably affectionate and each one is so different!

7. May be true ....
but I still prefer dogs to cats .... I don't get along with cats because they want to rule the house that I already rule. It's territorial, really.

:hi:

8. My dog doesn't worship me!
She orders me around!

"Wake up!"
"Let me out!"
"Feed me!"
"Play with me!"

If I don't move fast enough for her, she gets behind me and pushes.

She's still my baby, though.

11. Yep, sounds like my dog.
If I don't move fast enough, she throws a tantrum. I have a very spoiled rotten Rottie.

10. There's a great cartoon in my Vet's office that explains the difference
It has a dog dressed up in a clown costume, riding a unicycle and juggling three balls. A cat sits nearby, looking at the dog in disgust. The caption says:

"The difference between dogs and cats is that dogs are afraid of losing their jobs."

Believe me, my doggie rules my life. I had to pass on a Florida deep-sea all-expense fishing trip through my office (I work for a hunting and fishing publication) because I had no one to take care of her for 3 days. And I don't like kennels. Mainly, because I went on an all-expense-paid skiing trip to Colorado that I won on a radio station, I put my other now-deceased Rottie in a kennel and had to get all kinds of immunizations including one for kennel cough. Well, she got kennel cough anyway.
