Guess who is tied for the lead in Home Runs in MLB?
He is also two away from 500. He's back! :D Still one of the greatest ever, don't close the book on him yet. Alot said his career is over or going nowhere, now he is on top(tied) the MLB in home runs.

1. I'll see him on Wednesday
Good to see Junior back in form. It's good for the Reds and good for baseball.

3. Definately good for the Reds
Look at where Dunn is on the list while your at, also Casey is having a bang up year as well.

2. He is great, but he could have been the greatest
He is Hall of Fame material, but several injury wracked seasons have made it impossible for him to surpass Hank Aaron's record.

4. He's been great
I still think he needs a move away from CF if he's going to stay healthy for an entire season, and until Sean Casey signed his Faustian contract I would have said 1B might have been the right position. Now, I don't see why swapping Griffey and Adam Dunn won't be a bad move, but until he gets hurt again (which is more than possible), I can't see that happening.

5. He is still a great Center Fielder
I have seen him make some pretty good catches over the course of the year and has thrown out runners trying to reach home.

6. He can still play defense
But when your hamstrings are little more than scar tissue (which is how some reports describe Griffey's), you're not going to be able to hold up very long in center field.

7. I wonder what Junior's "Upper Deck" rookie card brings now?
Considering that I sold it a long time ago for $20 so I could buy lunch for my girl...we ended up married, but all in all maybe the card was the better deal.

8. Junior's a spoiled pussy!
As a Reds fan, I'm appalled at how much time he's spent on the DL. Geez, Junior, grow some balls and PLAY FUCKING BALL! Pampered pampered superhero, if you ask me. His daddy ought to be ashamed. Go back to Seattle, you wuss! Where have you been for the past three or four seasons??? When we needed you???? PUSSY!!

Athletes aren't super heros and shouldn't be treating like ones even though alot are. But they're human and the injury bug can bite anyone at anytime. Alot of the plays he injured himself on were plays he gave it his all. But anyways, the Reds are doing well and so is Griffey.
