6. did you get a chance to play?
it's really fun - mostly just to be outside in the grass and the trees.

And it's cheap! No green fees, $8 of equipment...

15. It's fun as a beginner, and it gets more fun
it's kind of a "slacker" sport, but unlike skateboarding and hacky sack, it can be fun without a lot of practice. I only started playing last year, and only went 3 times... I've been out a half dozen so far this year and am seeing improvement already. And it's just fun to be out there, espeically with a few buds to bullshit with.

but if it's just a headache/tired as opposed to nasuea, have ONE of what you were having last nite. It'll help a lot (just don't start drinking again!). Lots of water too. a joint woulnd't hurt either :)

37. Thanks
Felt OK today. Last night I felt icky, especially on the subway ride home. Any subway ride after midnight will be an adventure anyway, but this was one I don't care to repeat.

4. Having a Corona ....
I'll definately need a few more. Can't take this Reagan drama and they aren't going to bury him until Friday.

The up coming week will be a good time to clean the basement and do yard work.

7. with a lime?
everyone except me loves that stuff. I can't drink it with or without the lime. But then, I like rich malts with lots of hops. Different tastes for different people.

27. then you shouldn't drink beer
sorry, I don't intend to sound mean. But what gives beer it's "bite" is hops. Hops is to beer as cheeze is to pizza. The lime just makes the corona not taste like beer. I'd suggest Tequiza - it's a good malt beverage - somewhat limey. Zima, wine coolers, oe 800 and the like are okay malts too. But if you're after sweet, go for the mixed fruit drinks with a quality vodka or rum. Yummy.

get a headache or :puke:

You're not mean. You're one of them dang beer experts!

I rarely drink but, it's times like these that I need a little buzz. Something to take the edge off the intensity of this election, the war, Raygun's death, etc. Just a tad overwhelmed ;)

14. Bingo. I like better beers too, however we went to lunch at a local ...
...Mexican Restaurant and they had something that I simply can't resist...50 cent PBR's!

Had two there then in the spirit of workaday beer bought a six pack of Miller Lite (sic) on the way home.

Sweet!

18. pbr me, asap
if it's cold enough, it's potable. at 50c a beer that's cheap to get drunk... but I figure if you want to get drunk, get some liquor and some kool-aid -- much tastier.

21. Actually Maddog 20/20 used to be good for just getting wasted.
But what's up with all of the new flavors? Redefining shit is absurd! Leave it be for Humanities sake.

As for kool-aid? Normally I'd take you up on that, vodka and grape is great, but alas no kool-ade and no vodka.

17. Disc Golf is golf played by thowing frisbees instead of hitting ball
But the discs are smaller, heaver, and designed to fligh futher than frisbees made for catch. You try to get the disk into a target (same as a "hole" in golf) in the fewest throws (strokes).

This images was stolen from the pdga, and it shows what the target looks like

you have to land the disc in the chains or basket - like getting the ball in the hole.

Like I said, it's fun, nice to get outside, easy to pick up, cheap, and there's probaly a course in your area. see my post above for alink to find courses

26. it's easy. I'd guess easier for a beginner than real golf
I think the graphic was misleading. here's a pic I got from a google search:

The distances are similar to real golf, just turn yards into feet (1/3). It's really easy to pick up.

I'd recommend an all around disc. Check out http://www.innovadiscs.com/ for discs. The "Shark" is a good all around beginner disc that flies straight. They're $7.99 at the local sporting goods store. That's an inexpensive hobby (no green fees or anything... at least on most public courses.)

I had a variety of beers from that brewery when I made a trip to manhattan a few years back. I was very impressed. I'm a fan of the Sammy too, but I think the ale is better than the lager (which is still excellent!)

From Yakima Cellars, Washington state. It's not a bad little wine!

Waiting for the Mariners game to come on at 5 pm PST on ESPN.

45% cab
29% merlot
13% cab franc
13% lemberger

I think the lemberger in there makes it interesting. Thanks for the tip about their pinot noir (I am assuming you meant Yakima Cellars. I am not really familiar with them.)
