For those interested, my sons wedding is over and I.....................
did end up getting onstage with the band. Thanks for all the input about whether or not it would be appropriate.
The Bride and Groom had a great time.
It seems everyone had a great time and I ended up singing 4 songs with my old band. What a blast and everyone enjoyed it. No one could believe how good the band was. People in my family, and there are a lot of musicians in my family, couldn't believe I used to be in the band. Someone even asked me how I could ever leave a band like that. LOL
It was a wedding that won't be forgotten soon.

4. Congrats! I married last year and my dad played with the band
can't belive weddings that have a DJ. $1k for someone to play CD's? Give me a break! Weddings force people to have huge parties. I think that's a good thing.

5. Nothing like a live band but I......................
really overdid the dancing. I love to dance (I'm from Philly, what can I say.) Today my feet hurt like hell. LOL
