3. I need Tampa Bay

The Venetian sportsbook in Las Vegas is aggressive in updating series prices on the same night after a game is played. Frequently they screw up, usually making the favorite too low.

That happened last week, when Tampa squared the series at 2-2 by swiping game 4 in Calgary. The Venetian made it a pick 'em series, when obviously Tampa should have been favored with 2 of 3 remaining at home. I jumped on Tampa Bay at -115 odds.

Tonight I can either let it ride or take Calgary at plus money, guaranteeing a small profit either way. After winning against Smarty and given the tendency of homers in game 7, I'm leaning to letting it roll.

Plus I'm a native Floridian, so go Lightning!

7. Back when the playoffs began...

There was a thread to predict how the playoff would go... I chose Tamapa to take it all.

I still do want them to win the cup. I also am routing for Tampa because of Dave Andreychuck sp? I think that was just one of the big mistakes that the Sabres made over the last several years.

Though I would like to see an Actual sabre lift the cup instead of former Sabres. (See Hasek)
