I have read many of the vindictive posts concrning Reagan on this site. We are better than that! Yes, the freepers were rotten when Wellstone died but again, we are better than that. Yes, we disagreed strongly with his policies but lets not tapdance on his grave.

4. I understand your frustation.

I wish that everyone I've grown to care about could on some level be exactly what I want them to be and behave in ways I want them to behave.

I think I'd like it if we could all treat these matters with decorum or at least silence.

Many of those I have grown to love and respect disagree to varying levels and I defend to the death their right to be express themselves as they would chose, and not as I would chose for them. I refuse to revile them, or shame them, or call them names, or love them any the less for being themselves.

Wellstone never espoused (or put into place) policies that resulted in torture, massacres, deaths, giving WMDs to thuggish dictators, deprived poor people of aid, etc. etc. etc.

Ronald Reagan did.
