High School Grad Scored Perfect Attendance (13 Years - NO Absence)
not one sick day - not one skip day - someone get this kid laid quick!

<snip>

UNION GROVE, Wis. -- Bryan Guenzler is finishing his senior year of high school with a perfect attendance record.

That's 13 years of school without an absence.

Bryan hasn't missed a single day of school since starting kindergarten in Union Grove, Wis.

Local school officials say they don't keep records on kids who've never missed a day -- but they can't remember anyone else doing it.

Bryan says he never gets sick enough to miss school.

One of his teachers tells the Journal Times of Racine that Bryan shows true dedication.

2. "True dedication..."
to the spread of germs, maybe! Shee-it, maybe HE didn't feel bad enough to miss school, but how many people got sick because of him? Colds & the flu can hit people to varying degrees. He's very lucky his immune system works in a way that doesn't inconvenience him much. Not everyone is the same.

3. We had one in our graduating class, too.
A very unassuming, smart guy who rarely spoke a word. I've even forgotten his name. Not just dedication; they were lucky they didn't ever have mono or bronchitis.

4. My first girlfriend in college's roomate did that
Every single day. The governor of North Carolina gave her a plaque (sp?).

She was a real Bible thumper (really nice too) so I don't think what was going on in the bottom bunk was much to her liking.

5. Three in my high school class
Yes, they did indeed drag their sorry butts to school whenever they had a vicious cold or the flu, because--well, who can say WHY anyone would come to school in that condition? (None of them, by the way, was a poor kid--I can understand, I guess, how some parents are forced to use public schools as affordable day care.) Interestingly enough, not a single one has gone on to do anything even vaguely remarkable. Perfect attendance in public school is their obituary lede.
