My tap water is brown!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was in the shower and i looked down and the water was brown! My first thought was "i'm not that dirty........?" I had to rise myself off with a few bottles of spring water! I'm on hold with the water company now! I AM SO MAD!

Our tap water is orange. Always. Well, I mean it's originally orange, we have filters and water softeners and all that crap that makes it drinkable, but if you're outside watering stuff...orange.

The house was built in the 1920's

All the pipes in the house are copper, but i'm wondering what the main line is underground. It might be iron coming out, but i don't know.......I hope it's only iron.

I took a bath at our hotel in Florence, Italy, and the water was a funky orangey/brown color.

One of the only things that keeps me from moving to Italy. Well, that and Berlusconi.

Supposedly it was safe but most residents bought bottled water. I lost track of the issue because I changed jobs. BTW, yep it was a predominantly black neighborhood. I had lovely water from the same company at the same time. :mad:

Our shower water turned brown just before the water heater bit the dust. Luckily, we got it replaced in time. Any longer, and we could have had a major flood in the basement.
