3. I gotta go with John Paul I. As I am not a great fan of popes,
particularly conservative ones (which is pretty much all of them) I have got to go with one who only lasted a couple of months. Plus, he seemed like a nice guy.

And that's saying a lot given that she was raised Southern Baptist in Texas. She liked the reformist spirit of Vatican II.

11. John Paul I - the Pope who was killed by the Vatican hierarchy.
One month as Pope. Died under VERY mysterious circumstances (there are suggestions that JPI stumbled on financial irregularities involving the Vatican Bank). And the Vatican refused to allow an autopsy of JPI. I'm convinced.
