My son waves at fire hydrants
My 8.5 month old little bundle of pure kinetic energy I refer to as "my son" love to wave and shout at fire hydrants when we go on walks. It's totally hysterical, if mystifying. I expect he'll be walking in a month or so, he already pulls up and can walk with his hands held. Then he'll be sprinting to see his hydrant friends...

Here's a pic of the little guy O8) with some of his favorite blocks:

The pants have little tools on them and the shirt says "daddy's helper" :D

8. Adorable.
He looks like a big boy for 8.5 months. He looks so happy!

Mine is 7 months and huge. He's already wearing 9-12 month clothes.

10. He IS big
Born at 7.5 lbs. Was 14 lbs at 2 months (nursed every 1-1.5 hours around the clock, my poor wife!), 20 at 6 months, he's now around 23 or so. He's not too chubby but he's extremely muscular and strong. And very good natured, he smiles and laughs all the time. He is what Dr. Sears calls a 'high-needs' kid - he demands tons of attention and love, all the time, which we're (of course) happy to provide but boy, does he wear us out!!

11. That sounds like my big boy
... my firstborn, now finishing first grade (sob!). Damn, that kid liked to nurse! Now he is a strapping big hunk of a sweetheart (not chubby, just big and broadshouldered and tall).

I love him so much and I can see you love your cutie pie to pieces too!
