What's your biggest turn off ?

3. Selfish people
Guys who want you to do something for them but who won't reciprocate by doing something you want are a huge turn off. So are guys who aren't comfortable with their body.

24. Reciprocity is good...
though sometimes you gotta go first. :)

I'm not talking about being insecure with your body. Hell, sometimes I'm still insecure. I'm talking about being comfortable with your sexuality. I've known too many guys who had hang ups about what they were "supposed" to enjoy.

an "ignorant and proud of it" attitude or a narrowness of focus, the type of guy who can talk about his job and sports, period.

Having read Velma's post, I'd like to add lack of empathy, which seems to go along with lack of a physical sense. The guy who flops around aimlessly when trying to dance is the same kind of guy who can't figure out how to give a satisfying back rub or provide a satisfying experience in bed. Or figure out that sometimes people have problems through no fault of their own.

5. Smoking.
It's incredibly unattractive, and smokers themselves not only stink but if they smoke long enough, their teeth get yellow and awful, their skin is gray and wrinkled. Yuck.

13. I just don't think I could bring myself to kiss a smoker
Edited on Tue Jun-08-04 10:34 AM by SiouxJ
except for maybe Johnny Depp :-)

That whole "kissing a smoker is like licking an ashtray" thing comes to mind whenever I think about it.

Aside from that I'd say my other biggest turn off is arrogance.

married couples where one smokes & the other doesn't. That's got to be a major compromise for the non-smoker.

27. It's not a big deal for her
at this point because you've probably been a smoker as long as you two have known each other. If you give it up you'll probably hear her say things like, "He smells so sweet now." That's something a woman I know whose long-time smoking husband gave it up a few years ago. She had been used to it, but was amazed and happy at how nice he smelled, how much better the house smelled.

What most smokers simply don't understand is how easy it is to smell a smoker. They just reek. Their clothing reeks. I grew up in the 50's when "everyone" smoked, including both my parents, and I was used to it. But over the years, as fewer people smoke, and more and more places are smoke free, it's just harder and harder to tolerate.

36. Mine is more about attitude than any one THING
I find that men claim they want certain things, and when they get them, suddenly they're not so sure it's a great thing. My ex loved the idea of an independent woman, non-clingy, who loved sex even more than he did and wasn't afraid to admit it. Strangely enough, two of those qualities are the very things that ended the relationship. Turns out I was a little TOO independent, and gee, if I'm not at home clinging to him, I MUST be out there clinging to someone else. Ugh, give me a break :eyes:
