Poll question: Who are you rooting for... Lakers or Pistons?

I'm not a sports fan, but my wife is from Detroit, so I'm feeling like I should pay attention to the finals. It was very exciting to see the Pistons win game 1 in LA. I think I might have to watch the whole series now. :)

Anyway... Who do you want to see win the NBA finals? Lakers or Pistons?

We have two great teams in this city.

The Wings (OK they did get their asses kicked by Calgary this year), and the Pistons.

I've given up on the Tigers and Lions.

I still have an affection for Phil Jackson and would like to see him win the 10th coaching championship and set the record.

I still think his importance to the Bulls dynasty years is understated by most who think he just rolled the ball out there. They're wrong.

I'm glad the Lakers lost the first game at home, and as much as I'd like to see Kobe cry again this year, I just can't root for the Pistons. I don't even want to think about what Ben and 'Sheed would be like if they had a ring... and Larry Brown doesn't deserve one for deserting the Sixers.
