People thought I was so cool before I met Stephanie; I would hang out with Shakeydave, and my DU dudes, and dudettes in the Lounge...get hundreds of responses to my threads...People would PM me that I didn't even know--

Hell, face it, I had groupies.

I was cool.

So, am I suddenly "uncool" due to my marital status?

16. Less popular after beginning my relationship

I was pretty busy in college. I only had so much time for my social life. My relationship with my husband quickly escalated into a time consuming activity so I had less time to spend with other people, especially people who he did not care for or did not care for him too. I am not saying that I only stayed friends with people that got along with him. I just didn't have enough time to socialize with as many people as I did. I had five or six social groups plus several individuals when I was single by the end of my freshman year. People were greeting me everywhere I went on campus and I could go to the dining hall alone and be expected to join someone for dinner who I happened to run into. It was hard enough maintaining those people then since I am introverted by nature. Once I had a serious relationship, I couldn't maintain that and my popularity decreased.

17. Don't take it personally, - I really think it's got more to do

with the prohibition against sex threads. A lot of folks are uncomfortable now with outrageous flirtation, a thread can take a bawdy tone in a heartbeat.

21. I don't know the difference (as I've never posted unmarried), but....

I'm married and still get flirted with plenty. I've been a bit openly disgruntled at times, but even that doesn't make a difference I think.
