Best. Cat Toy. Ever.
I am hanging pictures and have a Mini Laser Level, which is now my cat Noah's favorite toy. He is practically climbing the walls trying to get it! He comes up to me and meows at it when it's noy on because he wants to play. It's so funny to see a seven year old, 14-lb monster kitty jumping like a little kitten!

:D

1. I Noticed When I Was Using My Level
I got a $1.99 laser pointer and whip it out every once in a while to let mine play.

2. it's almost cat abuse!
i got a laser for my cat to play with. she (betty) goes crazy trying to catch the light.

then when you turn it off she will spend 30 minutes trying to find it. it's like she lost her best friend. so i feel sorry for teasing her with it.

:-(

He knows it's fake, but just loves to chase it!

5. Cheapie laser pointer works just fine
Two of mine chase it, but it seemes to be invisible to the third one, who sits there wondering what the hell is going on. Even a hand mirror on a sunny day provides loads of fun. In fact, when I was a kid I had a dog who would chase that spot of light.

10. sounds like our youngest cat
when he was a kitten. He'd get going so fast that he couldn't stop and we would hear this "thump"

"Oops, Bear just ate wall again!" (that or the sliding glass door)

11. Lasers are good. I like brown paper bags.
Put one down on the floor and they'll run into them like a kid with a pillow fort. I was playing with my parents cat while house sitting once. I put it right side up to see if the cat would jump up and into the bag, but it didn't. I watched some TV for awhile and forgot about it. About two hours later, unbeknownst to me, the cat clims up on the shelving to the very top by the ceiling and then does a swan dive directly into the bag, head first. I've never seen a cat not land on it's feet before. The bag was completely still for a few minutes as I sat and wondered if I'd just killed my parents cat, when it came to and staggered out of the bag looking rather dazed.
