7. Elvis gave it a shot with "Return To Sender," though, and in the 1962
movie that featured the song he nails Jackie's arm movements and twist-like, loose-hipped in-place dance pretty well, and much of the smiling going on was probably his using the mimickry as an inside joke. They were big fans of each other. They were both also great on powerhouse Neapolitan ballads, circa 1960-62.
