5. yesterday on the way to work
I had half of a banana. When I got to work I started thinking about that banana in my car, 90 degrees outside, hummmm.... and so I slip the banana out of my car, got out of my car and then kicked in underneath my car. I'm sure glad I did, or I fear I might have had to walk home.

11. Just a settler.
Kind of. Grew up in Missouri, came down here to teach at ULL. But parents retired to their home in and around Ruston and was in N LA area a lot seeing grandparents and cousins as a kid. Good to see another LA DUer!

:toast:

4. I just moved from Miami where it's like that YEAR ROUND...
to San Francisco, where there is no real summer to speak of. The high today was 62, like always...

8. Yep, same here.
I lived in Miami most of my life. And I didn't realize that there were such things as seasons until I moved to No. Georgia in 1989.

12. it's over 90 here
95 in my office (computers are little furnaces), light breeze... Humid.

I am loving it, and normally I HATE this kind of weather, but this year, man I am just enjoying every degree and minute of it.
