Poll question: Which Classic TV show should have a reunion show?
Edited on Wed Jun-09-04 01:04 AM by Delano
Which would you most like to see?

(And I'm not talking about a retrospective of clips of the old show...)

In some cases, major characters' actors are deceased. You can make suggestions for their stand-ins.

I'd love to see "All in the Family" with Ed Asner as Archie, big fat Gloria, bald-ass Mike, all trying to get by in Bush's America...

12. I'd like to see M*A*S*H - original cast too.
But with Henry and Frank gone, and even Colonel Flagg is dead, it would be hard to see how they'd do it. They had a retrospective show a couple of years back, with the surviving actors, and it was nice to see them all again.

5. Cheers...
Just off the top of my head, because they're mostly still around, in some of the actors who played in the series (think Cliff and Norm, Diane and Carla, hell, probably all of them now) are looking for work, and I'd love to see what happened after Sam said "I'm the luckiest son of a bitch in the world!"...

8. None of the above.
The "Dick Van Dyke Show" reunion convinced me that these shows are best left alone.

9. MST3K...of course.
When we last left them they had a 2 bedroom garden level apartment. Mike made rice and they settled in for a really bad Saturday afternoon movie. Oh yeah, and Gypsy was a billionaire entrepreneur. I'm dying to see if they did Passion of Christ!

10. reunion show never go well.
However i'd love see a M*A*S*H reunion, but what would the story be about? Remember 'After M*A*S*H' was a bomb.

13. How about Lexx then...
a couple of dozen wanted that show not to end, and I admit the finale was poignant but disappointing, however they brought the characters back from the dead before, they could do it again!

I have deeply ambivalent feelings about that show, I loved it but in retrospect there is much to dislike! I only wish Kai (the best character) had a better fate, and when you throw in the whole destruction of the afterlife thread they pursued it was quite an existential experience watching him die...

Either that or let the whole series be forgotten...

Don't try to tell me it's not a Classic. I'd like to see how the lads are faring under New Labour.

19. Roseanne isn't classic YET!
Don't you have to be off the air for 20 years before you become classic? God, I hated that show.

21. Star Trek. Original series. All new star-studded cast.
One show only. Two hours. Subject: Kirk's maiden voyage as captain of the Enterprise.

Problem would be finding someone who could play Captain Kirk.

Suggestions?
