1. Say what you want about Gregg Popovich...
...but at least he had the good sense to have someone OTHER THAN Kobe make the winning shot.

4. Yep
Larry Brown should be kicking himself today, and I'm sure he is. They should have fouled, given the Lakers two shots and taken the ball.

The question is, can Brown bring the Pistons back from such a morale killer? Popoviuch obviously couldn't. The Spurs just curled up in a fetal position.

5. WTF were they DOING not fouling...
Shaquille? Did anyone in that arena NOT know the ball was going to Kobe or Fisher?

:argh:

8. Definitely, Brown blew it
A 3-point lead and less than ten seconds...give them anything BUT a 3-pointer. Doubleteam Kobe and leave Shaq alone under the basket, or foul Shaq...ANYTHING but what they did.

It's still early and the Pistons got their split in L.A., but there's no way they're going to beat the Lakers three straight in Detroit or anywhere else on the planet. The Lakers will get one win in Detroit--which means coming back to LA for #6 and #7.

The Lakers are vampires, yet coaches refuse to drive the stake in the heart. I predict Lakers in seven. I share your pain.

2. Did he have a court date yesterday or something?
I was reading about the game in the news this morning... I'm just trying to figure out why he was playing so well. :P
