3. kinda like 'who's buried in grant's tomb'?
howard stern says rocks.

a little syllogism:

reagan's body is in reagan's coffin
reagan's brain is in reagan's body
reagan had rocks for brains
ergo,
rocks are in reagan's coffin.

7. Probably for several reasons:
He died from pneumonia which happens quite frequently with alzheimer's patients. Part of what happens to someone with alzheimer's in later stages is they forget how to swallow and it becomes very easy for them to aspirate food into their lungs which turns into pneumonia. It happened to one of my close relatives.

He probably is a shadow of his former self since he was 93 and may not have been eating much for quite some time. It's been quite awhile since a current picture of Reagan was released and I imagine he's not in the best of shape. The family would rather people remember him as he was before than what his body looks like now.

8. A 93 yr old ten year Alzheimers sufferer would not be presentable.
I work in a critical care unit of a convalescent hospital and I have seen what this horrible disease can do to someone physically as well as mentally.
I'm willing to bet that he's not a pretty sight even with the mortuary process.
