2. Jon Stewart is in a different league. His show is definitely the best but
Letterman is the best of the standard night-time talk shows.

He is in a different league of HOT!
This guy is a FAKE news man and is getting awards in the REAL news categories.

But, to be technical -- he gets lumped in with these other guys when it comes to Emmy awards and such.

4. Conan O'Brian
1) He was a writer on the Simpsons.

2) He started out as a complete underdog and is still around.

3) He currently has, and has always had, awesome semi-underground bands on his show. His show is the only one I can regularly tune into and see a band I like.

For the record, I despise Jay Leno, and only like David Letterman because he hates Leno as well.
