35. Don't forget the Brown Recluse
That's a painful bite, although luckily I don't know that from experience. My brother was bitten by one near his eye in his sleep. He said it swelled up so much he couldn't open his eyelid. Here's a link with a pic and some info.
http://ohioline.osu.edu/hyg-fact/2000/2061.html
But as long as it's not this, or the afor mentioned pretty black spider, quit being a wuss. Although, personally, I'd just leave it alone. Spiders hunt annoying bugs and are pretty cool little creatures, leave it alone and it will most likely give you the same respect.

I don't think the legs on that spider were that long, but it was that color. And it's okay to be a wuss about some things. Everyone has their fears, I'm just not a big fan of bugs. So, I'm owning up to my wusiness.

Seriously though, just capture the beast in glass and turn her outside. She is more afraid of you than you are of her. And she does a needed job of keeping the bug population under control. It just like the lions and the gazelle.

17. Here's what you do.
Get a big, sturdy, clear glass.

Place the glass over the spider. This contains it.

Slide a piece of cardstock or other heavy but still pliable paper under the glass, under the spider. Got it?

Then, once the paper is completely covering the top of the glass, and the spider is completely contained, flip the whole thing over.

You are now carrying a spider in a container with a lid on it. Ok?

Now, go outside, and set the whole thing down on the ground. Carefully lift up the glass and RUN LIKE HELL back into the house, close the door, and tell us how it went.

32. Scary
I hate spiders, they give me chills up my back when I see a mean looking one. But I still manage to remain calm and get him. I feel bad for the insects I killed. During the daytime, there are alot of bees at the pool and when one gets near me I smack my hands together with the bee in the middle. It's just an instant reaction, but I don't worry about it. It's hot for them to sting.

I'll probaly wake up around 11-12 or so and probaly go swimming in the afternoon, plus she said she'll come around Friday so maybe I'll see her. Then probaly play a little basketball and then probaly go out and look for something to do.

51. Ugh.
Here I was thinking that he'd be happy to talk to me since he was out of the field for his little break. Well, he was. Called me when he first got out and I told him I'd call when I got to work. Called at about 11 and from 11-2 we were talking on and off because he and the boys in his barracks were drinking, playing the guitar, and being their normal obnoxious selves. Well, he kept hanging up on me. A little annoying but no big deal. The last time he didn't call me back so I called him and was like "Are you going to keep hanging up on me all night?" (you could tell I was joking) and he hung up on purpose. No big deal. So he calls back and ALL I say is "If you're hanging out with the guys, I'll let you go so you all can catch up." (thinking that this is REALLY NICE OF ME). He says "What do you mean by that? I'm not WITH anyone" and hangs up again. WTF??? Sorry, that was long. But it just annoyed me. I mean, I guess it's just the alcohol talking? :(

It wasn't that long, I've sent you longer posts then that. Maybe you'll get an explanation next time you speak. Sorry about that and maybe it was that, but (I'm not speaking towards you or anyone close to you but in general) I really can't stand obnoxiousness, that and immaturity turns me off. When I drink (not that I do or anything) I usually just kick back and relax, sometimes I even play basketball. I've been told I play better and more aggressive defensive when I am.

AhhhH!!!! My dog Kiki (brown and white one) stole my pizza!! :argh:

Actually, normally if/when he drinks, he's extra polite. Like he'll ask me to wait outside if someone is causing trouble, etc. It's cute the way he's protective. I just don't know WHAT the hell was going on tonight. I mean, they've been in the field for 10 days being hot, sweaty, and smelly with each other. I don't know if he just needed to release or what.

Awww! How cute!!

I know but I've been turned off by it from seeing my dad and grandpa drunk all the time. I seen the thread you posted earlier, and I once had a friend who was about 21 who would take a piss by the basketball courts in the middle of the afternoon screaming "bullshit!" it was funny to watch but you know what I'm trying to stay right? 62. The short answer is, you don't.
The slightly longer answer: only small spiders are poisonous, so you've nothing to worry about; spiders are actually beneficial creatures, because they eat OTHER insects. There's a superstition that says it's bad luck to kill a spider; this probably originates from the fact that spiders eat nasty little things that cause disease.

I do not understand this irrational and borderline psychotic aversion to arachnids so many people have (I've seen it in several ex-girlfriends; they'd see a spider and shriek "KILL IT!", at which I'd just look at them, shake my head, pick the spider up and deposit it outside).
