XM Satellite Radio is the shit!!!
If you don't have this, it's time to move your ass.

Air America, ESPN Radio, Fox Sports Radio, a station devoted to Heavy Metal, and so much other shit I can't even remember.

Do yourself a favor and get this thing...

1. Damn right!
Music Lab and America Left are worth the price alone.

2. I'm sitting here at work, listening to Soul Street on my headphones
and my car is set to Fred most of the time. I take my XM with me EVERYWHERE I go. It is WONDERFUL.

3. I wish there were a "walkman" like device to pick it up....
It really isn't portable ENOUGH for me, right now....

But, I'm tempted...

4. No, it's not.
Satellite radio is the shit.

XM is partially owned by Clear Channel. And I hate those bastards with a purple passion. When I invest, I'm going for Sirius.

Sorry.

5. Hey, it was a birthday gift from my dad...
I won't slight him for not being socially concious...

6. Clear Channel has less than 2% ownership
they don't control any of the content. That's one of the calumnies that some of the Sirius folks have spread about XM. Both services are good.

7. Sirius is better
They play all of Randi Rhodes' show.

8. Good point
I have XM and I hate how they cut away from AAR after Franken and put on Ed Schultz (groan) instead of Randi. I've written to them and asked them to quit it! I've heard they have some sort of contractual agreement with Schultz so they can't change it right away.
