3. Do you have a special set of oven mits
for the "caging?" That might help avoid some of the scratching and biting...

Make sure to give them an extra treat tonight to smooth things over with them. :P

5. When my 2 cats were small
I used to leave the cage open and let them play in it. I would throw treats in to tempt them to go in.
Now I don't have too much of a hard time getting them in. What I can't stand is the shrieks and cries on the way to the vet.

8. Put the carrier open end up
then just drop the cat in it. Slam the door real quick before she jumps out. Works every time.

9. Actually, it went better than expected.
First, we closed all the doors, so they had no place to hide. We usually trap 2 of them in the bathroom, and then shove 'em in the cage, but the third doesn't like to be picked up or held. I managed to grab her at the top of the stairs and drag her down and straight into the cage (held by my lovely wife) without a scratch. Whee!
