can you imagine if it was a blockbuster politician who had made millions of dollars from movies internationally? Instead of one week it would be at least two weeks and cable could go to hell.

Not yet safe. I worked a double today, thankfully, and missed the Coronation, or Funeral, or whatever they're calling it these days.

I flipped on CNN when I came home, around midnight eastern, and found myself viewing the California funeral cortege. Scenes from earlier today, I suppose.

MSNBC was showing a sorta-kinda interesting vintage David Brinkley piece about Reagan in the White House. It's worth watching, just for seeing James Baker with youthful brown hair. Plus, watching the inner workings of the White House is pretty fascinating to social outcasts and weirdos, like us.

Stay away from TV until midweek, when Kerry makes his VP announcement. }(

considering how things work on USA propaganda i have 2:1 odds that it'll continue onto saturday (the weekend political pundit shows want another go at it i'm sure...).

if it goes on monday though... god help us. we might have to pray for a natural disaster to save us.
