A DEMOCRATIC Kitten!

Well, there's no doubt! She's a Democrat Kitten! We've provisionally named her Chamisa (Sha MEE sa), which is the type of sage or rabbitbrush she was hiding under after streaking in front of the car.

We know Chami's a Democrat because it shows in her little face! The "M" marking over her little nose does not meet in the center. Instead of M it's ^ ^ and rather elongated peaks. Combined with the nose coming straight down from the marks it looks *exactly* like a donkey's face head on!

She's still healthy and eating like a horse. Already her little bones aren't so stark as they were. I'll have another picture of her up in a bit. Then you'll see the little donkey face right between her kitten-blue eyes.

Her name may be still up in the air (leaning toward Chamisa) but her political affiliation leaves not a doubt in our minds!

I think we've uncovered the secret sign of cats!

So far, so good, the Missus is not wheezing yet (but the kitten is still small) and we're hoping to keep her.
