Finally! A reality series I can get behind

Not actually watch, mind you, but at least this one is delightfully stupid instead of repulsively, obnoxiously or tiresomely stupid. E! Network is starting a thing tomorrow called Scream Play, where people redo stunts and famous scenes from movies. The radio ad mentioned running from a boulder as in Raiders or drinking eggs as in Rocky or Cool Hand Luke. It's from the producers of Fear Factor, so there's a certain misgiving that the emphasis will be on stuff like the latter more than the former, but still, this is the kind of just flat silliness that probably ought to be encouraged in our tv programmers, at least relatively speaking.

1. For once, I'm fairly thrilled not to get any response to one of my posts

since the less said about reality shows, the better, but I'll kick it once as it might actually be neat, and folks who hadn't heard about it might be interested.

2. A suggestion from one of the contestants on Last Comic Standing

"who wants to date this bitch?" a reality show hooking up real women with pms, etc. and (apparently) truly tolerant guys. I would sign up for that inna minit.
