something new comes out of it. It's such an amazing movie on so many levels: musically, artistically, thematically. Every person comes away with a different interpretion.

It think the whole thing is about becoming a whole person & making peace with all of our different "pieces."

I think both Yitzhak & Tommy are both extensions of Hedwig - the two polarities of his own mind -- & the struggle that occurs therein...

Only at the end when he is able to recognize & accept these characters is he able to integrate himself.

But those are just my thoughts... the movie is a pretty profound thing for me :)
