So who here likes Kyuss?
For those who don't know, Kyuss were the precursor to Queens of the Stone Age. Awesome band, but they never got the attention they deserved, despite all the critical praise.

1. I liked Kyuss
They were the forefathers of the whole "stoner rock" style. Imagine if Black Sabbath had come from the California desert instead of the industrial British Midlands.

2. "Vast" was the best word
to describe their sound. Some band were heavy...Kyuss was vast. It's a bummer they started to run out of gas on their last recordings.

Blues for the Red Sun is such an amazing album. Fuck they were good.

8. I like Kyuss...........
just listened to "Wretch" the other day at my buddies house. However, I'm a much bigger QOTSA fan. I sure hope Josh Homme continues with the Queens now that he and Nick Oliveri have parted company. I also like Brant Bjork and the Eagles of Deathmetal.
