I live in the north-west suburbs of NYC, about 25 miles from Manhattan.

Yeah, I love NYC.
It's dirty, gritty, not the prettiest city in the world and can be dangerous but it's exciting and I absolutely love it.

perth relies on sunshine, and the past few weeks have been very cloudy and, for once, its rained

although to be honest, the vast majority of winter days are actually fine days with a temperature of 25-27 degrees celcius (im guessing thats about 80, but thats most likely a terrible guess)
