...why are sitcoms filmed only on interior sets these days? Some of the best old sitcoms like "Bewitched" and "That Girl" got out of the living room on a regular basis. They lived in a world, not on a set. Today's cheap sitcoms take place only on a living room set. And the live audience fake-laughing at the jokes doesn't compensate. I'd rather take the laugh machine and a wider view of the world than living in a decorator's nightmare.
