I'm brutally honest, and that freaks a lot of people out and puts them off a bit. Not that I care, though. I think that if you care about someone, you tell the honest truth, whether it hurts their feelings or not. You don't bullshit with those you care about. And I'm a little bit of a nut and some people don't get my sense of humor. It's ok. Oh, and also, if someone's a dumb ass, it kills me not to be able to call them one outright, because, well, some DAs just don't get subtlety.

My reputation on DU is that of a brutally honest, in-your-face, far-left, feminist lesbian who doesn't back down from a fight, refuses to be a doormat, sticks up for non-gay underdogs on principle alone (even if they're not gay-friendly), and pisses off a LOT of people.

But, as I once told a manager-coworker who wouldn't get off his butt to fix a server-room emergency: "I don't give a #$%&! if you think I'm a &%*@!ing bitch -- if being a &%*@!ing bitch is what it takes to get the urgency of the problem into your brain, then FINE! Just #$%@ing FIX IT!"
