I need a little help with a computer problem:
in an overzealous cleanup of unused programs it appears I accidentally deleted the calculator that came with my Windows XP, that was on my desktop. have absolutely no idea how this happened. how can I reinstall the basic calculator? is it somewhere in the Windows XP reinstallation disc? can I download one from somewhere on the internet? thanks in advance for your help!!

1. sure and sure
search for a new basic calculator to download on http://www.tucows.com and be sure to choose Windows as your operating system when asked.

And it sounds like you just deleted the LINK to your calculate, go to the start menu, then Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Calculator
to make sure you actually deleted it.

Or insert your XP CD and follow the instructions on updating or upgrading your system.
