A Bar Where Customers Strip

INDIANAPOLIS - City officials have decided to terminate a lease with a bar in the downtown Union Station where risque events such as "Miss School Girl" contests sometimes saw patrons remove too much clothing.

The city said in a letter to owner of The Ugly Monkey that it was cutting short the lease because the nightclub allowed nudity and other inappropriate behavior by customers.

The city did not expect such problems when The Ugly Monkey signed its five-year lease in 2002, said Justin Ohlemiller, a spokesman for the Department of Metropolitan Development.

"We're not going to permit this type of behavior on city property," Ohlemiller said Monday.

I used to go to had strip trivia. They grabbed people from the crowd (volunteers) and asked them questions....wrong answer, take some clothes off...right down to nothing.
