Aahh!! She took the dictionary!!
Man, I didn't mind when I found out the ex took the pasta bowls when she scooted... but she took the dictionary!

What the heck? I'm the word guy! I liked that thing! Now I'm going to wonder about words and not know what they mean. I'm gonna be like... like... like a wordless guy and stuff. :D

4. It's just not the same...
I'd look something up and find myself distracted by other words I'd never come across. :(

10. You too, huh?
I'm discovering more and more each day that we have more in common than just our names.

You wouldn't happen to own a copy of this book, would you?

15. Yes, record-takin' chicks
My first wife took all sorts of stuff, from Martha and the Vandellas Greatest Hits to Metal Machine Music.

Probably works for Halliburton now.

23. Patsy Cline "She's Got You"
I've got the records
That we used to share
And they still sound the same
As when you were here
The only thing different
The only thing new
I've got the records
She's got you

7. A dictionary is like an old friend
for her to have taken it without discussion approaches criminal. you have every right to be very annoyed. It will be hard to replace - you have my sympathy.

12. Sweetie,
buy a cheap thesaurus and call it even. You're obviously in some severe vocabulary distress. (pain, torment, agony, anguish, torture, need, want, acute suffering, trouble, danger)

21. replace it with the AHD
The American Heritage Dictionary is simply the best in breadth of coverage and usage notes.
