Remember Ricardo Montalban pushing "Rich Corinthian Leather" in the Chrysler Cordoba?

Does Chrysler still offer it?

I don't know why in the world I just thought about that, but I did.

3. it's not the cars. it's the man.
I don't really remember the car(s). I do remember Montalban's phrasing. The man really knows his elocution.

Mr. Montalban 'owns' that phrase. Like the way John Cleese owns "and now for something completely different" or maybe like the way B*sh owns "duuh...UHhhh"

6. Nah, they made the Corrinth extinct, now they only have Genuines
to harvest leather from. That and the occasional Nauga they kill for it's hide :)

7. I was going to say, "I remember those. Man, they were some ugly cars."

But I somehow find myself strangley attracted to them. Must be the leather.

9. Dan Aykroyd - Best of SNL
Dan Aykroyd did a great spoof of the Chrystler commercials of the 70s on SNL. Its on the DVD "SNL - The Best of Dan Aykroyd." It is a trip.

12. Rich Corinthian Leather no longer exists
thanks to compassionate conservatism. You can only find Impoverished Corinthian Leather, usually under bridges, at shelters, and occasionally in a rehab...
