1. strange to me that the Cubs pulled it out
I'm used to the Angels pulling out late-inning victories. O8)

2. With the home field advantage, too
I really never expected us to win that one once it went to extra innings. I thought we were doomed for sure...but what a game, man? What is with the foam rocks out there by center field? Were they made by the same people who did planet design for the original Star Trek? C ya, The Plaid Adder

Disney used to own the Angels. They put those in when they re-re-re-re-remodeled Anaheim Stadium and it became Edison International Field of Anaheim. Thank god it's now -- for the first time -- "Angels Stadium."

3. Gutsy. That's all I can say.
And not just yesterday's game....but all year long. Sosa out, Prior out for 2 months, Wood out and they're hanging real tough. Every Cub's game this year has had the feel of a post-season game. It's been real fun.

5. For guts, Hollingsworth should get some kind of award
He really could have broken his neck catching that fly ball, and if he hadn't it would have been over. I still can't believe he didn't drop it. I hope Wood will be back soon. I miss him. C ya, The Plaid Adder

7. No shit. Prior was somewhere entirely else last time he pitched,
but hopefully going up against Clemens will bring out the best. yee ha, The Plaid Adder

8. My sister and her husband were THERE!
but unfortunately, had to leave during the 11th inning to catch their flight home so they didn't see the Cubbies emerge victorious. Tonight: Prior vs. Clemens!

9. Too bad they had to leave, but the game did go 5 hours...
Still, it was worth it all at the end. I don't think the Cubs could believe it was over either. Hope Prior has got his strikeout hat on tonight, The Plaid Adder
