I once did a blind vodka tasting and stoli came out on top for me. I had always preferred it, but that was the kicker for me. I can sip it. Mix it. Shoot it. And I still love it.

Beside that, Stoli is good too, and Absolut Currant and Peppar.

I'll admit, I'm new to the whole vodka thing, but I can't tell any difference, so I just get whatever's cheapest. I drink mine with seltzer water.

about vodka. It told about how it's supposed to be drunk (author's Russian). He marveled (that's being nice) how Americans (esp in movies) drink it with stuff and out of the bottle. Essentially, vodka must only be drunk in a glass, with nothing else in it and quickly (shot). Great story, look it up when you have a chance.
