This poor fellow-traveller with a penchant for languages wants to pick up yet another one. Anybody got any suggestions for better sites than the ones I've found? So far, I've gone to Akhlah.com and printed off almost all of their worksheets, but they seem very, uh, Orthodox, and I'm primarily interested in the language for non-religious reasons (believe it or don't). Jewish holiday/religious vocabulary is nice, and much of it spills over into big life ok, but I'm also looking for slightly different information, preferably aimed at novice adult learners. I've also printed off some basic conversational stuff from Israelvisit.co.il.
I'm particularly looking for:
--systemic stuff on verb conjugations/inflections, sentence structure, syntax, and other grammar --basic everyday vocabulary --basic introductory idioms and expressions --written descriptions of the phonics (I can handle fairly advanced linguistic stuff, because that's where my background is)
I appreciate your help. Todah!
