And so I put off work again until the last possible latest moment....
and I will again get four hours of sleep, I just never learn, I am a bad, bad girl. Some people just shouldn't work out of their home you know. You'd think I would have learned by now.

What ya got going on at your place?? :hi:

1. God, I can't get by on less than 8 hours of sleep
It didn't used to be that way. I don't know why. I thought the older you got the less rest you needed.

3. At 34 I am getting the least imaginable amount of sleep and I only
have myself (well that and Skinner) to blame. :hi:

2. What do you do?
I used to do that when I was an independent medical transcriptionist. I still get about 4 hours of sleep, but not for that reason.

Here I'm watching Seinfeld and finishing up my JURIST report. My better half is watching some Bollywood movie downstairs. The cats are both lying on their backs displaying their wares for all to see.

4. I am a real estate appraiser. I go out on the jobs during the day
and work them up on paper at night when the kids are settled in.

5. I can't get a damn thing done until the deadline is right up on me
I'm glad I don't get supervised anymore, I hated seeing those folks having strokes wondering if I would ever get my projects finished. I have no idea how to change that.

7. Well, at least I feel less alone. This is what I do as well.
And it drives me nuts, yet it's a constant in my life.

6. working on my book
aquisitions editor gets my propsal Thursday... wish me luck!

I too have problems focusing from my home office, but it's usually only when I've gone months and months without a day off. I've gone eight months of 5 day weeks and I am burnt to a crisp. Still, things are starting to pick up and I won't be able to take a vacation until August if I am lucky.

Oh well... At least I have a gig.

9. Best of luck Big!! Things are slowing down a bit for me in the wake
of Mr Greenspan's indecision. But there are still those homebuyers..and then the foreclosures. :( I still get at least 1-2 a day, so I guess things are good. Wish I was done though. Got another whole report to do yet.

10. Hey!!
Hanging out in Le Lounge because of the basketball game and
saw your thread and had to come in.

(I'm working from home now, too, and I luv, luv, luv it. "A bad
commute for me is when I stub my toe on the way to the computer.)

15. It's all yours.
Actually I stole it from a guy who runs a WFH site,
was talking to him about how hard it is and how many
scams there are out there, and that's what he told me
about how he felt about the whole situation.

Good to see you too.

:pals:

I'm a procrastinator also. I don't seem to be able
to get motivated unless I put myself under pressure. ;)

S.O. is next to me watching the Six Feet Under episode he missed Sunday night. I'm trying not to think about microbes and my Summer class from Hell.

16. Yes.
It's easy for me and I actually don't mind the lectures (biological science nerd), but the labs are dull and the professor is requiring more busywork crap than necessary. I haven't had so much busywork in a class since junior high. It's my last class though before I start my nursing clinicals though, so hey, I got that going for me. :7

17. Microbiology
One of the few "foundations" courses from my nursing education that I really use in my practice of nursing. It will help you be a great nurse someday soon! Hope that helps and best of luck.

of giving you better command of the subject material. It helps in the end! :hi:

23. That's a familiar feeling.
I'm a night owl as it is and don't need much sleep. I remember when I was working corporate always making my supervisors nervous. LOL I had a couple tell me that they were really biting their nails but that I always came through with better than best results! It's not putting it off, it just doesn't come together until the pressure's on. :)
