My faith in the NBA has been restored tonight....
...with the victory of the Pistons over the Lakers. Finally, I have seen a coach who has been in the NBA for over 20 years win his championship and a team that has not had an NBA victory for a long time win a championship.


I always thought that the Lakers were arrogant, polished and too big for their britches. This was a sweet victory for Detroit tonight and I am feeling like the system actually works to some degree.

1. The system has always worked
The better team wins. This year the better team was the Pistons.
