"What the Lakers need to do is..."
How many times did we have to listen to that phrase last night? Along with "Kobe this and Shaq that"? At one point when the Lakers were down by a couple points one announcer actually said, "The Lakers are dominating the Pistons." Maybe he should have taken a look at the score. It wasn't until the end of the third quarter that the announcers realized that their beloved Lakers we going to get their fanny's spanked and starting talking about the Pistons. And no, Detroit didn't start a riot after the huge ass-whupping.

3. No chip and I'm not gloating or rubbing it in
But the announcing just drove me crazy. Shouldn't they be a bit more impartial? That's the way a professonal is supposed to announce a game.

Here in Detroit we were blessed with one of the best baseball announcers ever. Ernie Harwell. It used to drive me nuts how impartial he was. You could tune in late to Game 7 of the World Series and Detroit could be pounding the opposing team. And you couldn't tell by his voice who was winning. You had to wait until he announced the score.

2. Where are the apology threads?
I am patiently waiting for the people who spread that Detroit=riots smear to post their apologies, but I am not going to hold my breath.
