I don't believe they are. Yes they 3-peated but IMHO that only means they were as good as my Bulls. Kobe has Shack. Michael Jordan only had Scotty Pippen. Which team do you think is better overall ? I vote Bulls who do you vote ?

3. Lakers
Shaq & Kobe would pummel Jordan & Pippen.

The Lakers problem was Malone & Payton, not Shaq or Kobe.

Jordan was luky to win his championships. He never faced a great center (ie, Shaq, Hakeem) to win a title. He faced some pretty weak teams...

Seattle, Utah, Phoenix, ect.

7. no...but
Kobe & Shaq is the best 1-2 punch in NBA history.

It would be the equivilent of Jordan and Ewing playing on the same team.

That's why the Lakers of now (or three years ago) would beat the Bulls in their championship days in probably 6 games.

13. Rodman for starters.
Rodman really used to frustrate Shaq when they went head to head.

The Bulls used to go 12, 18 even 24 fouls deep in the center position back then. I remember the Bulls-Lakers matchups in the late 90's and the Bulls would play Hack-a-Shaq everytime.

4. Nope. No way. Not even close.
The '95-'96 Bulls were the greatest team in history.

Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Toni Kukoc, Steve Kerr, Ron Harper, Luc Longley, Bill Wennington, John Salley, Randy Brown, Dickey Simpkins, Jack Haley, Jud Buechler, Jason Caffey, James Edwards

It would be pretty tough to find a better group of 15 players on one team at the same time.

6. I like the 85 Bears as the greatest team in history myself,
but we can all like whatever we want.

10. lakers are better WHEN
they are 'healthy', mentally, physically & emotionally

"only" scottie pippen?? not an expert, but scottie had mad skills, and took a follower's role. granted, he fit a follower's role, but could have been a marquis player in the right place at the right time. IMO
